THE GAP WE WORK ON
Funding rarely reaches the people closest to the work.
Community leaders bring lived experience, cultural insight and bold ideas. What they often lack is not purpose, but the systems to sustain it: strategic networks, recognition, access to stable funding and operational support.
Our programs exist to close that gap.

It is a digital program, so it can reach organisations wherever they are, and it adapts to the specific challenge each one is working on, from climate resilience to poverty and gender equity.

For 13 years we have moved money from supporters to the community organisations doing the work. The Community Capital Engine is how we do it today, and how we are scaling it.
We want more money to reach grassroots organisations, less of it lost on the way, and every supporter able to see where their gift went and what it changed.

SystemsLab
SystemsLab measures what our work changes, and makes sure it changes the right things.
It started with AWASUKA, where we measured and managed the impact of smokeless kitchens in rural Nepal alongside the Nepalese team who run the programme. Now we are taking that work further, so every organisation we support can prove what it achieves.
