YEARLY REPORTS
We are a non-profit NGO: we do not generate profit for ourselves.
Instead, we allocate the funds received towards our social mission, administrative tasks, and fundraising campaigns in order to achieve our objectives.
Our Financial Structure

Independence.
We are an independent organization: we freely evaluate the financial requirements of the projects to be funded and decide which assistance to provide, without being conditioned by political, economic or religious interests. To achieve this, we need financial independence. Most of our funds are private, coming from individuals and entities that partner with El Camí de la Solidaritat.
In recent years, 95% of total income has been private; the rest came from public institutions such as governmental humanitarian aid agencies.
Ethical funding.
We do not accept funds that contradict our social mission and ethical code (for example, from governments involved in a particular conflict). For this reason, all public funding is examined case by case, as well as that from foundations and corporations that may have a particular interest in a given context.
Needs-based fundraising & donor intent.
Our fundraising is based on needs identified through our direct evaluations. We fully respect the wishes of donors who choose to allocate their contribution to a specific project or emergency. If, for any reason, we cannot honor this, we will seek permission from each donor to reallocate funds to other projects.
Oversight & transparency
Our finances are subject to strict internal and external oversight: our accounts are audited annually and our reports are public. We apply rigorous ethical spending and provide detailed accounting. This continuous evaluation strengthens transparency and helps us improve the relevance and quality of everything we do.
